Dicentra or "heart in two"

  Dicentra, unfortunately, is not included in the list of the commonly cultivated garden flower, and it is undeserved! It is absolutely wonderful and very beautiful plant. It is extremely elegant. If to draw an analogy with the social hierarchy of human society, Dicentra of course could be attributed to the aristocratic class. It forms fine and precise. What is the only flower in the form of a split heart with the resultant drop! Her colors are bright, and at the same time, not puffy-catchy. The florets are full-bodied, but soft, soothing pink color, and in combination with the drop of white color, they become solemn and elegant. And all this against the background of dark green Matt leaves, which further emphasizes color. The names of some varieties dicentra: "Ditsentra magnificent, the Bleeding heart is beautiful", "Ditsentra exceptional", "excellent Bleeding heart". Agree, not every plant employees will be awarded such epithets, and by chance these names do not give.
   Dicentra has many legends, mostly about unrequited love. French legend says:
"A young girl, Jeanette went to the forest and got lost. Download the way young man helped her and she fell in love. In vain the girl sought a meeting with the young man, but he did not appear. But once  a rich procession passed the village, the front of which sported a familiar rider, and beside him a girl. Jeanette swayed, fell dead, and her heart suddenly sprouted dark red flower."
  Since then, the French call him "sweetheart Jeanette", Germans — "heart flower", Russian — "broken heart", and the British "bleeding heart","pants Chinese", "Dutch panties", "flower-Lira"or "locks and keys".
  There was a time when no aristocratic estate was without dicentra. When looking at flowering plants, you have lyrical ideas, so tender and helpless are those “hearts”. The bleeding heart has long been a favorite flower of romantically minded young people. Eventually she gave way to others which became popular garden plants. But the time came and appeared in the garden varieties, differing in color and shape of leaves, color of Corolla.
